Kebble's Death Ruled Suicide

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

The NPA has ruled that Kebble's death was an assisted suicide. A very bizarre way to go.

Interestingly, and maybe this is old news, it reminds me of the mysterious death of Barney Barnato with whom Kebble was often compared to. This extract from Wikipedia:

He died in 1897 in mysterious circumstances, officially lost overboard near the island of Maderia, whilst on a passage home to England . Although some have wondered if this were suicide and suggested that the Jameson Raid had had a major impact on him and left him severely depressed; his family vigorously rejected that theory, saying that it was totally out of character for a man who had been a pioneer in the rough and ready days of emerging Southern Africa

Was it the Jameson Raid or a bottle of Jameson's that had a major impact on him?

Is he really dead? Where is the gruesome [non-photoshop] photo of his corpse? Do we really care?

Strike with chaos is what Sun Tsu suggests in The Art of War. And this is just what Agliotti has done. He planted the seeds for this fiction as soon as the spotlight landed on him for Kebble's murder and he has been grinding away at it ever since.

He has systematically used the press to construct this fantasy and I wouldn't be surprised if his lawyer had penned the press release from the NPA to . Independent Newspapers, where I read this story didn't even bother to interrogate the facts as they have been presented by the NPA in any way.

Of course lets not forget that Agliotti gave the Scorpions the leverage they needed in the Selibi case. Perhaps it is the trade off for the dirt in that case. Its also the biggest load of bullshit ever. The NPA have lost the plot in this case, the Kebble family would be better off fighting a civil case.

If I could slide funds around like this man did, would I have myself shot to avoid retribution? Why not just disappear... for ever.

If I was planning this hit and wanted to make it look like a highjacking why would I use the funny bullets - which immediately finger the assassins as security/bodyguards/special forces ?...

If I was a car nut ( and these guys are all petro-addicts) would I use a car which OVERHEATS for the aborted event of the night before the actual hit?

It doesn't add up to nothing...
