Douglas Gimberg and Christian Nerf present CARPENTRY 101. The artists will be attempting to dismantle traditional wooden sculptures, you are welcome to join them.

A book will accompany the show with contributions from Ronald Suresh Roberts, Bettina Malcomess, Nuno Sacramento, Robert Sloon, Ed Young, Andrew Lamprecht, Bianca Baldi, Johan Kritzinger, Dan Halter, Lizza Littlewort, Gimberg and Nerf.

Oprah, I found a copy of the South African version of your magazine ‘O’ in my dirty paws the other day. I flicked through and on the last page, jutting like a mole out of some benign article, I saw in bold blue text bracketed by quotation marks, a quote reading something like: “Life is about what you give, not receive.” I was appalled by this. You stole these words directly from that old British bat Sir Winston Churchill! You bitch! Perhaps this is the way of the world though, others stealing the words of others and using it to market their awful selves. I wonder how many Americans know who Winston Churchill was, or, for that matter, just who the fuck Christian Nerf or Doug Gimberg may be?
