Ah, back to the comfy rut of slagging Ed and Ruth. We'll all look back on these moments with nostalgia when we're sitting in our old age homes wondering what the hell happened.
Was this flyer/poster designed by Robert Sloon? It looks like the offspring of a genetic experiment: a page of Arttheat fucked by one of those 1970 full page endorsement advertorials for, say, a South African Building Society. The un-vocalised content is The Future (perhaps, A Future; or Any Future), the inducement is Believe in Us, We understand Your Past. In other words, We're Your Man. But hey, isn't that the franchise for which Ronald Suresh Roberts has exclusive rights? Interseting Confluence of Interests. Watch this space.

Ringo = EdYoung: Ugly and talentless but in the right place at the right time.
AND HE'S A FUCKING HAIRY DUTCHMAN
although Ed could never think of anything as brilliant as Thomas the Tank Engine
Ruth is Paul, the good-looking one. Technically competent, hard-working, but not original or creative. Both are notoriously miserly as well.
In my view Douglas is the only one cool enough to be John.
in my view doug is the only just cool enough to be cool...let's not forget children: what's cooler than being cool? ICE COLD!

maybe if ruth took her own advice and was a bit nicer to people, she'd have some friends. and ed said, you're correct, she does have a funny voice
tomorrow is human rights day, Ruth Sacks Don't Panic Day. Does this smac of coincidence or is it strategic?

The poster was designed by the alien puppet masters who control the whole art world, making some mysteriously successful and others mysteriously not.
Dear P & J, you amaze me: is this a succesful poster?
Artwork of the week should be the verbal 'map' for S.M.A.C. - like a lunatic rally for blind drivers, or is the location SO obscure...
oh god, whingebags! Just do something! Anything! And you will see how it is never fucking perfect!
