William Scarborough

Tuesday, September 05, 2006

Shit, it might be a bit late to post this, but my internet was down all yesterday. This looks like it will be an awesome show, I'm crazy about William Scarborough's previous stuff:
From 1979 to 1981 a series of mysterious murders in Atlanta, Georgia gripped the world while appearing each night on the evening news. During this time, a killer, or group of killers, brutally murdered sixty-three African American children and young adults as the media relentlessly covered the story. Twenty-five years later, it is widely accepted that Wayne Bertram Williams is The Atlanta Child Murderer.

It's all about dealing with the plethora of media and information in our age. Michaelis Gallery openings are normally fun because they have the best snacks ever! Check it out tonight at 6pm. Also, if you are in Joburg, check out Dorethee Kreutzfeld's one-night event at the Parking Gallery.
