Apparently, (and I'll go out on a limb here and say that this rumour is completely unsubstantiated), them folks at Trans Cape got a sangoma (Traditional African Medicine Man) to do a cleansing. I hope they got in that guy who advertises on Adderley Street... he also helps problem with money and for getting good luck... could have killed two birds with one stone. Personally, I think that Cape needs a kick up the ass, not a cleanser. Hell, I'd do it for free. For appointments please email me.

Tut.Tut. Is it 1) more 'othering' to note that this 'cleansing' is unusual , or 2) to find a need for, and initiate, such a cleansing.
We can I suppose thank our "southern gods" that they aren't calling in a feng shu master as well.
It's all a load of old FONG KONG.
