Hard Art, Tough Crowd, Bad Joke

Friday, September 22, 2006

It seems that LB's (the artwork/lounge) about Jo'burg Bar on Long Street will be very well used this weekend, for once. Rumour has it that Andrew Limprecht will be holding his 40th birthday party there on Friday night (open after 11 pm to those that aren't part of the invitation illuminati). Then Galerie Puta, the badboy collective that consists on Ed Young, Cameron Platter, Limprecht and new member Daniel Halter will be hosting two events on the next two consecutive days. On Saturday it will be an art exhibition and poledancing competition and then on Sunday the "Valdimir Tretchikoff Memorial Exhibition and Dance-a-Thon(g)". As anyone who has been to a Puta event will know, when people actually arrive for their parties, its normally pretty fun.

PS. Congratulations Limprecht... top of the hill, its a slow slide into (further) dementia and dirtiness from here on.
