My Poor Aching Head

Wednesday, June 07, 2006

Here are some pictures from The Last Braai, I'll post some more when I can get my hands on them. Although the world didn't end, it sure as hell felt like it this morning. For everyone that didn't come, you missed a damn good braai. Compliments to Ed and Christian, and to their sponsor ArtHeat.
I would also like to wish them luck on their voyage of discovery No Problem in Africa, for which the Last Braai was the kick off. Ed and Christian are travelling through most of Southern Africa, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Angola and the DRC, researching contemporary African art (with an outsider, or cutting edge kinda focus). Looking forward to the results, which will be shown in part at the Trienal de Luanda, and in part on the Routes...Report from the Land of Dreams exhibition in Europe.
