Bar as Art

Monday, June 26, 2006

Read this article in the NY Times. I know drinking as a form of art is pretty old hat, but I still really enjoy it. Especially when it takes place in Dead Horse Bay, and the artist has a cool name like Duke Riley. And when the whole thing gets raided by the cops. Damn those New Yorkers are cool. But didn't something similar happen here once too...?

drinking may not be passe, but a graffitti'd beach bar sounds frankly shite. i guess there must be boring artists in America too, it's a big place
